A reluctant endorsement

A decree has gone out that all web pages must link to this candidacy, "under penalty of being forced to listen to the acoustic ruminations of Michael Bolton for 45 minutes."

Although General Zod's tribute requirements, threats of beheadings, and dogged pursuit of Superman trouble me, I like the fact that he'll end the war and provide universal health coverage. And in exchange for my vote, he'll allow me to live!

For much the same reason, he's got my vote. hey, he's still better than Bush.

Of course he's better than Bush. He's imaginary.

Rob, the same could be said for the Democrats.

You mean he's NOT REAL?? I'm mortified.

Well, if the Indians win today and the Red Sox lose there will be a one-game playoff for the right to go to the post-season. Don't think we've done that since '54. I still can't find it in myself to say "Go Yankees".

Well, perhaps I could think of someplace for them to go, but that's a bit nasty even for them.

I like the Sox (both Red and White), but for you, Jim, and for the love of Orel Hershiser, I'll root for the Indians to take that wild-card slot. Besides, the thought of another Yankees-Red Sox playoff series gives me heartburn.

I also think his slogan, "Kneel before Zod," opens him up to the same criticisms that Clinton got.

I think he's got a good chance of winning, as long as Android Lee Marvin doesn't steal too many Florida votes.

Has he even announced yet? I thought that was just a rumor.
