Booksigning pics

Here I am last Saturday at the Borders Express in Springfield, PA, with enough books to bathe in:

I was a little nervous when I saw how many had been ordered, wondering how I was ever going to sell them all.

I sold about half, with a little (okay, a lot of) help from my friends and family. Several total strangers bought it, so it wasn't all nepotism. The rest I autographed and left behind with the fantastic booksellers, pictured here:

Left to right, they are: Keri (the manager), Maureen, and Jenn. Along with staffers Ashley and Buck, they were all incredibly supportive, enthusiastic, and helpful. I can't imagine how they could have made my first signing any better.

I'm glad it went well, Jeri -- sorry we weren't able to make it.

That IS a lot of books!

Stopped by the store today. They were VERY pleased with the results, told me you'd sold an impressive 20 books.

Just talked to the guy at Borders in Winchester, who told me they'd gotten in 60 copies of my book for this Saturday's signing.

Gulp. I mean, I know it's a busy weekend, but that's one book every two minutes. Don't they know that I'm Nobody?

I'm also doing a 3:00 reading at that signing, and there are a bunch of other fun events that day at Borders. So everyone come and bring your friends. It'll be a party!

You look so cute in the pictures. A lot like a little elf.:-)

That's so neat. And a lot of books, wow.

Send me the details so I can put the next signing on my blog!
