SHADE goes on the road!
One week...Four states...
A convention, two bookstores, and a red-velvet-draped bar.
It's the 2010 Shade book tour! (Well, technically, it's my book tour, because the books themselves don't need me to get around. They do, however, need me to sign them, unless someone wants to impersonate me and autograph my books. I am really fine with that, as it will make them sell better. Wait, no--it's a wrong and bad thing to pretend to be someone you're not.)

Stop #1: Saturday, May 1 - Columbus, Ohio
Where: Hyatt Regency Columbus, 350 N. High Street, Columbus
When: 11am-2pm
Details: Booksigning with over 300 authors! Open to the public for a $5 admission at the door. Free for attendees of the RT Booklovers convention.
Stop #2: Sunday, May 2 - Reisterstown, MD
Where: Constellation Books, 303 Main St., Reisterstown, MD (about half an hour northwest of Baltimore)
When: 3-5pm
Details: Reading, discussion--and most important, delicious cookies and brownies from Westminster's Starry Night Bakery.
Stop #3: Monday, May 3 - New York, NY
Where: Madame X, 94 West Houston Street
When: 7-10pm
Details: Part of Lady Jane's Salon reading series. I'll be reading from SHADE and taking questions, then autographing, then enjoying a social hour to celebrate the next day's release. Drinks are only $5--that's right, five-dollar drinks in Manhattan. Admission is $5 or a gently used romance novel.
Stop #4: Saturday, May 8 - Winchester, VA
Where: Borders, 2420 S. Pleasant Valley Rd.
When: 2-4pm
Details: Signing books, with a reading/Q&A at 3pm. Bring the whole family, and be sure to buy Mom a Mother's Day gift while you're there! (Your mom, I mean, not mine--although she sure wouldn't mind and absolutely deserves it.)
If you can't make any of these events but would like a signed copy, you can pre-order Shade through Constellation Books (410-833-5151 or online). Let them know if you want me to personalize it or just sign my name.

My wife's birthday is coming up and I thought I would take her to Columbus to meet you at the book signing. Will you have copies for sale there or do we need to bring our own? Just wanted to make sure.

Yes, the books will all be here for purchase. A local Barnes & Noble is running the Book Fair, 11am-2pm Saturday. There's a $5 admission charge at the door for those not attending the convention.
