I can't believe that you made that video! It's amazing!

I didn't read the first chapter (I try to avoid doing so at all costs, I prefer to have the book all at once ;) )- so I will admit that I am uber confused by the trailer. I mean, WHY IS ZACHARY IN A JAIL-LOOKING THING?

My inital reaction was WTF happens to Zachary?!??? The music and images leave a lot of raw emotions and anxiety after viewing that teaser video. I'm thinking May 1 is too far away!

I'm ready to see Aura find the answers she has been seeking. This book will be EPIC!

I read chapter one a few days ago and I'm going CRAZY waiting for SHINE to come out so I can find out what happened to Zachary's plane ... and the rest of the story, of course!

I didn't read the first chapter because I know once I read it, I won't want to read anything besides the book and then I'd have to wait a month and it'd be HORRIBLE. I hate waiting. Haha.

That video is just... Wow! And having seen it not just after reading chapter 1, but the whole book, made me want to cry. It fits so well with the story. And as you know I don't tweet, but I did head over to you tube and like the video.

I read the first chapter the first time you released and can't bring myself to read it again until release on May 1st.

The video makes me want to cry! I am so, so tempted to read the first chapter, but I want to wait until I have the entire thing in my hands. It would be torture to read part of it and not be able to finish. Especially after watching the video... I think you did a fabulous job! Loved it! My initial reaction to chapter 1 was a complete gasp, after that when I started breathing again, I might have scream and flail all over my room.

OH MY GOD. The minute my eyes set on that newly posted video, (with out even thinking about what it would do to me aftermath) I clicked play. BTW your video was amazing because after watching it, my face ended up in a pillow screaming. Instead of waiting I read the first chapter. There were too many questions that needed to be answered from just that one video. I tried to read the chapter as slow as possible so it could last longer, but my plans failed when I was at the end of the page. Even though I am extremely excited for shine, I am so sad that this trilogy will end.


Jeri, the shade series has casted a spell over me that has taken control of my mind. I find my self constantly thinking of the novel and what’s going to happen. I play out scenarios from my imagination of Zach and Aura, their favourite. I re-read the books and try my best to pretend I don’t know what will happen next. This helps substitute the depression of waiting for the new book to come out. You are amazingly talented and your stories bring me joy. They are way better then television, I find myself visualizing the appropriate scenes in my head. Again, can’t wait to read shine, I bet it will be so GOOD!

What's crazy is that I was sucked right back into the boiling pot of emotion that is this series after just reading a few lines. How do you do that?? The spell you cast has insane powers.

The trailer was impressive. I loved the "yes, you" at the end. ;)
