Superfan contest Day 2, featuring Kane Walsh

Welcome to Day 2 of the This Side of Salvation Superfan contest! Both of my local baseball teams (the Orioles and the Nationals) won on Opening Day yesterday, so I'm a happy fan. I'm also a happy author, because

Yay! Check out my official release week post for everything you need to know about This Side of Salvation.

Each weekday between March 31 and April 10, I'll post a new "trading card" here on the blog and on my various social networks. The cards will feature quotes by the different characters, as well as iconic images associated with them. By sharing this image on your blog and/or social networks, you could win some great prizes!

For all the details, including rules, prize list, and entry form, see Saturday's post (this link will open in a new window so you can easily navigate back and forth between here and there). I've added a few clarifications based on questions I received yesterday.

If you already know what to do, here's a direct link to the entry form, which contains helpful instructions on how to link to your posts.

Today's featured character is David's best friend, Kane Walsh. Though he's not the second most prominent character in the book (maybe third or fourth), he is the Middle Merion High School catcher. The catcher is the #2 position on the field, so today is his day!

Also, he gets some of the best lines:

Post Kane's card between now and 10 a.m. Eastern Time on April 2 to earn today's points (I'm flexible if your post is a few hours late). Remember, there's a new drawing each day, PLUS bonus points toward the grand-prize drawing for playing every "inning."

Once again, see this post to find out what to do, and let me know if you have any questions. It's super easy and super fun!
